NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 FFXV benchmark results
If we simply go off of the benchmarks we have seen with Nvidia RTX GPUs, yes the Nvidia RTX 2060 is going to be disappointing as well. Every Nvidia RTX GPU performs similarly to the last-gen GPU with the same price. For example, the Nvidia RTX 2080 runs games around 7 FPS better than the GTX 1080TI at 4k. The Nvidia RTX prices are usualy the same as the GPU that it performs similarly to. The RTX 2080 will cost you around $800, and the closest competitor to it is the GTX 1080TI which you can find for around $699. So we can assume that the RTX 2060 will cost you around $400. It is rumored not to feature ray tracing either, so it’s really not worth it to purchase an RTX 2060.
GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card benchs has been discovered by APISAK in Final Fantasy XV benchmark database. Interestingly, the leak would suggest that NVIDIA’s upcoming mid-range model is still featuring RTX branding, not GTX as previously speculated. This would indicate that even mid-range card would feature RT Cores and possibly even Tensor cores. The leak puts RTX 2060 between GTX 1070 and GTX 1060 6GB. Performance-wise the mid-range card would be twice as slow as RTX 2080, which scored 4880 – give or take. Which means the RTX 2060 would follow the footsteps of their predecessors in terms of where the model would stack in the series. However, it is also very unlikely that this card will follow GTX 1060 in terms of pricing.
