NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti SUPER is Not Happening and Here’s Why (Leaks and Rumors)

The NVIDIA RTX SUPER series GPUs were released very recently to compete with the newly released 7nm AMD Radeon RX 5700 series GPUs and after AMD applies price cuts to their RX 5700 series GPUs, they were able to easily capture the mid-end gaming market from NVIDIA. Well, now there is rumor circulating that we are going to get a more powerful RTX 2080 Ti SUPER but, that’s most likely not going to happen and here is why.

RTX 2080 Ti SUPER Rumors

A little bit before NVIDIA released their RTX SUPER series gaming GPUs, rumors started going around the internet claiming that NVIDIA is going to release an absolute beast of a card, the RTX 2080 Ti SUPER. These rumors started circulating from Wccftech who claimed a lot of things about the RTX SUPER series GPUs. A little bit of these rumors turned out to be real but, a lot of the rumors turned out to be fake. The NVIDIA RTX 2080 Ti SUPER was rumored to be an absolute beast of a card which was said to feature 4408-4608 CUDA Cores, 12GB G6 384b Memory, and 14.0 Gbps memory speed. This GPU was said to cost the same as the RTX 2080 Ti and it was going to replace it as the most powerful RTX gaming GPU.

RTX 2080 Ti Not Happening?

The RTX 2080 Ti is most definitely not going to happen because it doesn’t make any financial sense for NVIDIA. Right now, there is nothing from AMD that is able to compete with the RTX 2080 Ti so it would be a waste of money for NVIDIA to develop a more powerful RTX 2080 Ti. Also, if NVIDIA does release an RTX 2080 Ti SUPER, that’ll reduce the prices of the RTX 2080 SUPER price which will change the price of all of the RTX GPUs.
