PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds PC update #7 released less input lag
PUBG PC has gotten an exclusive update
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was one of the most popular games of 2017. The game is always in the #1 spot in Steam chart. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds got a peak concurrent players of 2,793,285 a number that most developers can only dream about. The second game in the list is CS: GO and its peak player count is only 686,210 players which is much lower then PUBG’s 2,793,285 players. Since Bluehole released PUBG back in December for PC the game has been performing a lot better than before and it has been changed drastically. Before Bluehole released PUBG for PC it took a very good GPU to run the game at a consistent 60 FPS at ultra settings 1080p but now with a GTX 1070 gamers can get an average of 60+ FPS at ultra settings 1080p. PUBG PC update #7 has made many bug fixes and more you can read the full patch notes here.
PUBG has made many client optimizations and those improvements are better input lag, reduced the FPS drops when the map is loading, optimized the start and the end of effects, and better vehicle physics when driving a car at a certain speed. Bluehole made two server optimizations too Optimized server performance and Optimized vehicle physics while driving at a certain speed. Bluehole has also added a friend list. Up to 50 people can be added as a friend in PUBG and players can search and add friends regardless of their platform. The PUBG friend list is independent from the Steam friends list. Main Menu voice chat has been added too that means while in the main menu players will be able to chat with their teammates while in the main menu. In some tall buildings holes have been added so players can easily move to other floors. 37 achievements have been added to Steam and 12 default emotes have been added as well.
You can purchase PUBG right now from Steam for $29.99. PUBG is available on the Xbox One too and it costs $29.99 but it’s still in early access and it doesn’t run or look very well on the Xbox One.
