PlayStation 5 to Play Latest Triple-A Games at 4k 60 FPS (AMD Navi, Zen 2)

PS 5 to Feature Ray Tracing

PS 5

The PlayStation Pro is a powerful console but, according to the latest rumors, it’s not going to be anywhere near as powerful as the Sony PlayStation 5 which is going to be two times more powerful than the Xbox One X. The PS 5 is going to be the first console to feature an 8 core/16 threads 7nm Zen 2 CPU and a 7nm AMD Navi GPU.

PS 5 Specs

The Sony PlayStation 5 is confirmed to feature the next-gen AMD Zen 2 CPU series and ru8mors claim that it’s going to feature 8 cores/16 threads which means that consoles wouldn’t be held back by weak and outdated CPUs. We also know that the Sony PlayStation 5 is going to feature the next-gen AMD Navi GPU series which is rumored to feature 12 teraflops of performance. The most surprising part is the fact that the Sony PlayStation 5 is going to feature an SSD that is said to be faster then any SSD that you can buy for your gaming PC. The PS 5 is also said to feature support for 8k and ray tracing which means that it’s going to be very powerful.

Release Date/Price

Although we don’t have any official info about the PS 5’s release date, the latest rumors claim that it’s going to be released sometime in 2019. We might even see it at E3 which is very unexpected as the PS 5 was said to be released around 2020. Right now, we don’t have an exact price point either but, we can infer that the PS 5 is going to cost around $500. Sony did say that the PS 5’s price is going to appeal to gamers which means that it’s definitely not going to launch at a $600 price point.
