PUBG did extremely well on the Xbox One
Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is one of the most popular games of 2017 and it sold very well. Even though it’s only in early access and it has sold more than 20 million copies on the PC alone and now it has been released on the Xbox One. The Xbox One version of PUBg has many problems and performance issues but it sold very well because it’s PUBG. Since Fortnite was available on the PS 4 and Xbox One it is still dominating the consoles and PUBG isn’t slowing it down. PUBG will probably not catch up to Fornite on the consoles because it’s only available on the Xbox One and it doesn’t run or look good on the Xbox One/Xbox One X. Well you might think that PUBG didn’t sell well on the Xbox One but if you thought that you are very wrong.
PUBG is available on the Xbox One as a game preview it’s basically early access but on the Xbox One and even though it has various performance issues on the Xbox One Microsoft announced that over 1 million games played PUBG in only 48 hours. In the PC market PUBG’s dominating over Fortnite but on the consoles right now Fortnite is doing a lot better then PUBG. Since PUBG isn’t coming to the PS 4 anytime soon and it’s not running well on the Xbox One plus the fact that Fortnite is a free game while PUBG costs $29.99 Fortnite is dominating the console market. Fortnite was around on the consoles a long time before PUBG so it doesn’t have a big fan base in the console market. Recently PUBG Corp revealed PUBG 1.0’s release date. The final version of PUBG comes with the new map, new weapons, new vehicles, and much more. Right now PUBG is available for $29.99 on the Xbox One and Steam but when it’s release the price will probably increase to $59.99.
