PUBG’s death cam feature is going to be released for other games

Before PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds the battle royal genre was one of the tiniest genres in gaming. When PUBG blew up on Steam while it was only in early access and sold 20 million units the battle royal genre blew up as well. Every company attempted to jump onto the battle royal hype train for example Rockstar released a minigame for GTA Online and it was very similar to PUBG and we have heard rumors that Red Dead Redemption 2 will feature a battle royal mode. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is similar to many games but PUBG’s death cam system that was made by Minkonet is different from every other game’s death cam. If you don’t know with PUBG’s death cam system you can watch 3d replays of your PUBG match and it helps with catching hackers. PUBG’s death cam system is going to come to other games.

In an exclusive interview, we asked Minkonet, “Do you have plans to bring this feature to any other game or online shooter games such as Fortnite?” Minkonet said, “Of course, that is our job. We are getting contacts and having discussions with them. No comment who they are.” Right now we don’t know what those other games are but the new system will probably be very popular in the other games. In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds 70% to 80% of all PUBG players use the death cam system. 

Right now you can purchase PUBG for the Xbox One and PC (Steam). PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was released back in December for PC gamers but it hasn’t been released on the Xbox One yet. On the Xbox One PUBG isn’t as good as it is on the PC becuase of its bad performance and lag problems. On the Xbox One X PUBG does run at 4k but it looks like PCs medium to low settings. Right now you can purchase PUBG from the Xbox One store for $29.99 and for $29.99 from Steam.
