Rumors: NVIDIA Super RTX GPUs to Blow Away 7nm AMD Navi (Benchmarks, Specs)

Things Not Looking Well for AMD

NVIDIA RTX

When AMD announced Navi and Zen 2 at E3 it seemed like they’re finally going to take a large part of the PC market from Nvidia and Intel but, it seems like that may not be happening as the rumored Nvidia RTX Super refreshes are going to be very powerful. In fact, powerful enough to blow away the 7nm AMD Navi GPUs. Of course, these are rumors so take them with a grain of salt.

Nvidia RTX Refreshes Rumored Specs

According to Wccftech, Nvidia is going to release many new RTX GPUs soon. We are supposedly going to get our hands on a new RTX 2080 Ti GPU, NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER, NVIDIA RTX 2070 Ti SUPER, NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER, and the NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER.

The RTX 2080 TI Super is going to feature a new chip and it’s going to be a hell of a card. Wccftech claims that the RTX 2080 TI Super is going to be priced around the same as the RTX 2080 TI but, it’ll be a lot more powerful. It’s also going to be completely unlocked.

Now let’s talk about the parts that will actually be competing with AMD Navi. The NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super is going be a hell of a card! It’s going to be an absolute beast. The RTX 2080 Super is going to feature a non-OC 2080 Ti chip which has been unlocked. It’s supposedly going to feature a core count between the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI and it’s supposedly going to feature 8GB of VRAM as well as 3072 CUDA Cores. This GPU is going to cost about the same as the RTX 2080 which means that you may be able to get 4k 60FPS at ultra for less than $1000.

The NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super is going to be very powerful as well as it’s going to come with an unlocked non-OC RTX 2080 chip and it’ll have a core count between the RTX 2070 and RTX 2080 and, it’s going to cost you the same as the RTX 2070 or maybe a little more. The RTX 2060 Super is going to feature an unlocked non-OC 2070 chip with a core count about halfway between the RTX 2070 and RTX 2060. The RTX 2070 Super is also going to feature 8GB of VRAM which is an upgrade from the 6GB available on the vanilla RTX 2060.

Nvidia RTX Super to Blow Away AMD Navi Competing GPUs

When the RTX Super GPUs are released, it’s going to push all current RTX GPUs by one tier which means that AMD Navi wouldn’t stand much of a chance. AMD compared their Navi GPUs to the current RTX line up and showed us that Navi was able to outperform the competing GPUs which featured similar price points. AMD will have to release Navi refreshes right when it comes out to compete with Nvidia Super. Of course, these are all rumors. Just so you know, Nvidia is supposedly going to announce their Super GPUs on 6/21 which means that we will be able to get some official information pretty soon.
