Splatoon 2: Halloween Splatfest starts tonight

Splatoon 2’s Halloween Splatfest is starting tonight in NA

Halloween is right around the corner, so many Splatoon 2 players want to know when the Splatoon 2 Halloween event is starting. According to Nintendo’s post, the next Splatfes will open at October 13 9 PM PT/12 AM ET, and it will end at the same time tomorrow.

For this years Splatfest American players will choose between vampires or werewolves, while Europeans chose between the way to hang toilet paper. Nintendo will add two new weapons to Splatoon 2. The new guns are the Custom E-liter 4K and a modified Custom E-liter 4k Scope.  The weapon will be added later tonight. Both of the weapons will have Squid Beakon sub-weapon and Bubble Blower. The Scope model will be able to shoot further, but it can’t store charge shots. The standard model can store charged shots.

According to VGChartz Splatoon 2 has sold 1.97 million copies (retail) as of August 26, 2017. Splatoon 2 is the sequel to Splatoon 1, and it launched on July 21, 2017, for the Nintendo Switch. It was the first game that used the Switch voice chat app. Splatoon 2 has been successful, and it is one of the best games on the Switch. Splatoon 2 has four game modes Turf War, Ranked Battle, Hero mode, and Salmon run. Salmon run is the new game mode. In Salmon run four players work together to survive against waves of Salmonids. Splatoon 2 has three station for Splatfest and eight stages for other modes. The new stages are Humpback Pump Track, Moray Towers, Musselforge Fitness, The Reef, Starfish Mainstage, Inkblot Art Academy, Sturgeon Shipyard, and Port Mackerel.

Spaltoon 2 happens two years after the original Splatoon. Octarians steals the Great Zapfish,  DJ Octavio has escaped, and Callies been kidnaped. Marie helps you save to get through stages and save the Great Zapfish and find Callie.
