The DIV RTX 2080 TI Waterblock, Water Cooled RTX 2080 TI (it Actually Works)
You can Make a Water Cooled RTX 2080TI for a Very Low Price
Heat is one of the biggest issues in the PC gaming community. The average user likely doesn’t even know what a heat sink is but to us PC enthusiasts, heat is our biggest enemy. Enthusiasts want to get the maximum performance out of their GPU without shortening its lifespan or paying more money. Water cooling is one of the best methods to keep your temps down but as of now, the RTX 2080 TI and RTX 2080 don’t have a water cooled variant but thanks to a YouTube video by JayzTwoCents, you can make your self a DIV waterblock for the RTX 2080 TI.

How to do it Yourself
First, you will have to purchase the GPU and then you can go to Amazon and pick up a cheap waterblock. JayzTwoCents used the EVGA variant of the RTX 2080 TI. First, you have to open up the GPU until you get to the bare PCB of your GPU. After you have done that, you should place the heat plate on top of the PCB. Then, you should get your waterblock and place it on the heat plate and line it up with the screws on top of the dye and screw it on there. After all that you put the back plate on and then, you place your water cooling stuff on the back plate. For an easy guide, you can watch Jay’s video.
Does it Increase Performance?
Yes, temperatures do decrease. With the GPU running at 1-volt exactly and reaching upwards of 2130 MHz, your performance increases by a lot. The water-cooled GPU with fans running at 70%, the RTX 2080 TI scored a 7,589 graphics score on Times Spy Extreme. With the RTX 2080 TI running on air, it scored 30 points less on Time Spy Extreme.
