The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by Nintendo EPD won the game of the year awards. Zelda is has been a solo gaming experience, allowing players to enjoy a world all by themselves without having to deal with the nuisance of other players running around, or avoiding some tacked-on multiplayer. On the other hand, in its own unique way, Zelda can be a really social game due to its exploration nature, whether that’s with real life friends or fellow internet fans. It’s been a really fantastic experience. We have to wait and see the mod is probably ready in 1+ years. All the games competing in this category were : The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by Nintendo EPD/Nintendo, Super Mario Odyssey: Nintendo EPD/Nintendo, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: PUBG Corp. Persona 5: Atlus, Horizon Zero Dawn: Guerrilla Games / Sony Interactive Entertainment. Of course the competition is so high when you see the PUBG one of the most played games ever in steam and super Mario in the list. Many actually believed that it is going to be the Super Mario to be the winner of the votes and become the best game of the year 2017 but zelda did better. This is a very general selection though and they are not in on category at all. PUBG should be competing BF1 or Ghost recon not super mario. But when it comes to the best games in all the categories irrelevant  titles also compete for the best title. and this year The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by Nintendo EPD won the game of the year awards.
