Need for Speed Payback has gone through its share of conspiracy because of something that has plagued many recent EA games pay to win mechanism. As you’d expect in a pau to win game in Need for Speed Payback you could replay levels and grind for hours or pay real money to proceed without having to grind for hours and hours. Well EA hasn’t given up on Need for Speed Payback and they are consistently trying to make gamers come back to the game and play it. A feature that fans have been wanting for a long time is a free roaming mode in Need for Speed Payback’s online mode.
The official Need for Speed Twitter Tweeted, “Online Free Roam coming 2018, Happy New Year from everyone at Need for Speed! ?”. This Tweeted made fans extremely happy and excited for this online mode. When gamers buy a new $59.99 game most of the time they wouldn’t buy the season pass so you might be wondering if the online free roaming mode is free or if you have to buy DLC to play it. Well, there is good news because this online mode is going to be free. When a fan asked if its going to be free the Need for Speed Twitter account replied, “Free to everyone”. Need for Speed Twitter said that we will get a release date for the new game mode soon. Need for Speed Payback was released on November 10, 2017 for the PC, Xbox One, and PS 4 and it costs $59.99. Unfortunately, Need for Speed Payback got really bad reviews. IGN gave Need for Speed Payback 5.9/10, 6.5 on Polygon, and 60% on Metacritic. These scores are very bad Star Wars Battlefront 2 another pay to win game by EA got a 68% on Metacritic. As you can see Need for Speed Payback got really bad reviews and it’s not popular with critics or gamers.
