2 new games added to Xbox Backwards compatibility
Xbox One Backwards compatibility has gotten many new games
The Xbox One might not have many features that the PC, PS 4, and Nintendo Switch have but the Xbox One has a feature that the PS 4 and Nintendo Switch can’t compete with. The Xbox One has a massive library of backward compatible games from the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 that are available for gamers to purchase or use the game’s disc. A few days ago the Xbox One backward compatibility got 4 new games, Splinter Cell: Conviction (Xbox 360), Spec Ops: The Line (Xbox 360), The Darkness II (XBox 360), and Winterbottom (Xbox 360).
The new Xbox Backward Compatibility games are Prey, and Mafia II. Mafia II is the 2012 sequel to 2K Game’s original Mafia released in 2002. Mafia 2 is an open-world action game that is similar to GTA V. Mafia II is set in mid 20th century and it is not a rip off GTA. Mafia II has different mechanics, for example, the police might arrest or fine you and if you run away from the police you will have to change your clothes. If you don’t the police will start chasing you as soon as they see you. Mafia II was originally released for the PC, Xbox 360, PS 3, and MAC. In Mafia II the main character Vito Scaletta to a poor family and after unfortunate events he was arrested and given the choice to join the army and go to fight in WW2 or go to jail. He goes to WW2 and the game picks up from the time he comes back from the war. If you own the disc for these games you can put it in your Xbox One and play the games instead of buying them from the Xbox store. Some other popualr games in Xbox Backward Compatible are Halo 3, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Assassin’s Creed III, Blakc Ops II, Far Cry 3, Assassin’s Creed Revelations, Darksiders II, Borderlands 2, and more.
