BLIZZARD: Diablo III Nintendo Switch speculations fake

BLIZZARD says Diablo III Nintendo Switch rumors are all fake

Diablo III might be very old with it being released all the way back on May 15, 2012, but Blizzard has been releasing it for each new generations. Blizzard released Diablo III for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 3, 2013 and for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 19, 2014. With the Nintendo Switch being so successful and getting so much third party support when people saw a trailer that “hinted” Diablo III coming to the Nintendo Switch and many thought that the Switch is the perfect console for Diablo III. Seeing how Diablo III is an addictive game, wouldn’t need lots of power, and many more reasons fans thought that it’s the perfect game for the Switch and when Blizzard Tweeted a video that hinted a Diablo III Nintendo Switch fans went crazy and thought that Diablo III will be announced for the Nintendo Switch soon. Recently all of the rumors were shot down by Blizzard in an interview with Polygon.

In the interview Blizzard Entertainment spokesperson told Polygon, “We can assure you we’re not that clever.“[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” This response definitely made many fans disappointed considering that right now there is no way to play Diablo III on the go. In the Tweet that started all of this Blizzard Tweeted a video of a Diablo III night light getting switched on and off and some fans thought that Blizzard was hinting at Diablo III coming to the Nintendo Switch and Blizzard wrote, “Sweet dreams.” Some could say that assuming Diablo III is coming to the Nintendo Switch just for showing a Diablo III night light getting switched on and off isn’t a good theory but fans still thought that it’s an actual hint. If this was a hint for Diablo III for the Nintendo Switch that would make Blizzard very clever.
