PUBG Xbox One reaches five million player mark

PUBG Xbox One has been doing pretty well

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was fully released for PC back in December 2017 and it came out for the Xbox One after a few days. On the Xbox One PUBG doesn’t perform very well and many Xbox One gamers play Fortnite because it’s free, performance better, and they started playing it a long time before PUBG came to the Xbox One. Even though PUBG has a lot of competition on the Xbox One it still sold a whopping five million copies.

Microsoft announced on the official Xbox One blog that PUBG has reached a whopping five million players. 5 million players is a very high number on one platform. Because of the big milestone, PUBG gamers that are playing on the Xbox One are going to receive the PUBG5 jacket for free. The jacket has a 5 on the back and the arms are made of letter. On the Xbox One players got a lot of wins with 4,959,356 Chicken Dinners being served and the most popular game mode on PUBG Xbox One is squads mode. On January 25th Microsoft announced that PUBG Xbox One has reached 4 million players. The growth isn’t as much as PUBG on the PC but it is still pretty good and fortunately for PUBG Corp it’s still growing.

On the Xbox One and the Xbox One X PUBG doesn’t perform or look well. On the standard Xbox One console PUBG is running at very low to low PC presets at 1080p 30FPS and on the Xbox One X PUBG runs at PCs medium settings but somethings are lower and it runs at 4k 30 FPS. The bad part is the fact that the frame rates fall below 30 FPS a lot and that ruins the PUBG experience. If you compare PUBG Xbox One to Fortnite Xbox One Fortnite wins. Fortnite is free to play, better performance, and better graphics. Of course some people don’t like Fortnite’s cartoony graphics so for them PUBG is the better choice.
