Modders have Made a New and Massive Free DLC for the Fallout 4

The Fallout series is one of the most popular RPG series of all time. When Bethesda released Fallout 3, gamers were satisfied with the change to an FPS from the older Fallout games. Gamers were very excited with the next Fallout game but they weren’t very satisfied with Fallout 4. Although Fallout 4 improved on many things over Fallout 3 such as the combat portion of the game. Unfortunately, Fallout 4 wasn’t all improvements. Many gamers complained that Fallout 4 isn’t as much of a role-playing game as Fallout 3 as there aren’t many options that the player can make that actually affect the main story. Modding is a massive part of Bethesda games.

Modders are the reason that so many players are playing older Bethesda games such as Fallout New Vegas after so many years. Modders add new content such as new weapons and characters to video games and they add a lot of fun to video games even for players that have already finished the complete games. Modders make games much much more fun and they don’t even get paid most of the time. Modders do it only for the fun, not the money.

The Northern Springs DLC adds many new quests and characters to Fallout 4. Unlike many other mods, the Nothern Springs DLC adds a whole new location instead of reskinning an older location. 

According to the modders they have worked on this mod for two years every single day. The modders wrote, “This isn’t an addition inside of the Commonwealth. Although it does include quests and other things that work with the Commonwealth. It’s a new location that expands adventure elsewhere to make the Commonwealth exploration experience much more vast.” This mod also adds 25 new quests, new jobs, new companions, new settlements, 2 Playerhomes, and New Weapons and Armor. Tons of new locations have been added as well. The modders are going to continue working on the mod for a long time. In the future, the main protagonist is going to be voiced.
