Notch isn’t working on a Minecraft squeal but He is Working on a Potentially New Survival Game

The Creator of Minecraft is Messing Around with a New Game

Minecraft is the second best selling video game of all time. Minecraft is available on pretty much every console out there even the Raspberry Pi. Tetris is the best selling game of all time with 170,000,000 copies sold through the years. Minecraft sold 144,000,000 copies and when you consider the fact that Minecraft came out in 2011 and Tetris came out all the way back in 1984, Minecraft is pretty impressive. Minecraft is followed by one of the best selling video games off all time GTA V in the third spot with 95,000,000 copies sold. GTA V is very far from reaching Minecraft’s sale numbers. Since Minecraft was sold to Microsoft fans have been wondering if Notch is working on any new projects, well it seems like the famous game developer Notch is messing around with a new video game.

Notch posted a video of his new game and a bunch of photos showcasing the game. His new game isn’t even close to getting anywhere the world is pretty empty and Notch has said that he doesn’t know if this is going to become a game or not right now. Minecraft started off from the same place at first it was a really empty world and the only reason that Notch released the game was because he gave it to his wife and she loved it, so he released the game out to the public.

Notch wrote on his Tweeter, “I don’t know if this is going to turn into a game, and it’s definitely not a sequel to anything. 😉

I’m just having way, waaay too much fun seeing how far I can push this tomfoolery. I had it push a 32 kilometer view distance for a while.”

As of right now, Notch’s new game looks like a good looking video game at its first stages or Notch might keep the graphics. Right now, it looks like a more realistic Minecraft perhaps something like Ark but with lower graphics.
