The FIFA franchise is one of the biggest gaming series of all times. The FIFA franchise has been getting a new game every year, and the franchise has become the biggest Soccer Franchise around the world as FIFA officially licenses it. FIFA is one of the few franchises that EA makes and gamers still like it, so it’s not a surprise the series in a whole has sold 260 million copies. FIFA is the best selling sports franchise of all time.

In a recent press release, EA stated:

FIFA 18 has sold more than 24 million copies worldwide
The FIFA franchise has sold over 260 million units worldwide across to date
Gamers have played 7 billion matches and scored 17+ billion goals in FIFA 18
FIFA fans have created more than 13 million clubs in FUT 18
FIFA Mobile has been downloaded 193 million times worldwide
Chinese fans have played more than 900 million sessions on FIFA mobile
FIFA Online 3 and FIFA Online 4 got 115 million registered players in Asia

The FIFA franchise is the most popular sports franchise of all time. FIFA 18 consistently gets to the top 10 best selling games of the month in the UK. Although in the USA not that many people play FIFA, in other countries, FIFA games have millions and millions of fans. E

EA has likely made a lot of money through microtransactions in FIFA 18’s online mode considering that more than 13 million clubs were created in FUT 18. EA received backlash for implementing microtransactions into FIFA 18’s online mode, and after players did research, they figured out that you will have to spend thousands and thousands of Dollars to make your self a good team.

The next installment in the series is going to be released on September 28, 2018. The Demo will go live from September 13th.
