Assassin’s Creed Odyssey 4k PC Requirements Revealed RTX 2080 Will Not be Able to do 4K 60 FPS Ultra
Ubisoft has Revealed the System Requirements for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the next installment in the infamous Assassin’s Creed series. For the first time in the series, the game is set before the Assassin’s Brotherhood was even created. The game is set to feature a unique story that we haven’t seen before in an Assassin’s Creed game, and it is going to have more RPG elements. System Requirements are essential to many PC gamers, and you are able to see if your PC can run the game before buying it.
According to Ubisoft’s blog post, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey’s system requirements for ultra 4k 60 FPS is:
“OS: Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 1700X @ 3.8 GHz, Intel Core i7 7700 @ 4.2 GHz
Video: AMD Vega 64, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0)
Memory: 16GB RAM
Resolution: 4K
Targeted framerate: 30 FPS
Video Preset: High
Storage: 46GB available hard drive space
DirectX: DirectX June 2010 Redistributable
Sound: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers”
According to the latest benchmarks with the RTX 2080 will do 40% to 50% better on every game when compared to the GTX 1080 TI and in games that use DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), the GPU can perform Two times better than the GTX 1080. If Assassin’s Creed Odyssey uses DLSS gamers using the RTX 2080 are likely going to be able to run the game at 4k, ultra 60 FPS. If the game doesn’t use DLSS gamers will likely get an average of ~45 FPS at 4k, high. Ubisoft will probably implement DLSS into the game as it will enable users to play the games at ~60 FPS 4k high.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is going to be released on October 5, 2018, for the PC, Xbox One, and PS 4. The game is going to feature more RPG elements, Naval battles, new characters, and a unique story. iS GTX 1050 2GB still able to do 1080p for this game?
It might but you will have to reduce the settings to low to medium so you can run the game at 1080p but you will probably have to reduce the settings to 720p for 60 FPS
