AMD Radeon GPU
Lets be honest here, building a powerful gaming PC is really expensive. If you want to have a future-proof gaming PC that can play the latest games at 1080p ultra 60 FPS you will have to spend about $1200. If you can’t spend that much, you can make a powerful gaming PC for about $800. If you are looking to make yourself a gaming PC, don’t do it. If you wait a month or two, you will be able to save hundreds of dollars and still get the same performance. If you want a $2000 setup, Navi and Zen 2 probably wouldn’t save you a lot but, if you have a budget you can save a lot.
AMD Navi and Zen 2 Can Save You a Lot of Money
First, let’s start off with the CPUs. Zen 2 and Navi are going to be announced really soon at CES 2019. AMD Zen 2 is going to be the worlds first 7nm CPU and it is going to beat Intel. Intel controls the gaming market thanks to their superior single core performance over AMD Ryzen CPUs. AMD’s 7nm CPUs are going to run much cooler then Intel CPUs so, AMD is going to be able to push Zen 2 further then Zen+. Zen 2 is probably going to feature better single core performance and more cores than Intel’s latest gaming CPUs so, Intel has no chance.
AMD Navi could save you hundreds of dollars. The most powerful AMD GPU that is coming out in 2019, the RX 3080 is going to cost you $249.99 while it is rumored to be able to perform like the RX 2070. If you are looking for a cheaper GPU, you can get the RX 3060 for only $129.99. The RX 3060 is going to be able to perform like the GTX 1060 6GB which is a $250 GPU. You can also pick up the RX 3070 for only $200 which is going to perform like the Vega 56.
