Let’s be honest here, PC gaming is an expensive hobby. If you want the latest triple-A game, you will have to shell out $60 and that adds up way too quickly. Of course, you can save a lot of money thanks to Steam and Origin sales but, games still cost too much. If you have been looking around for deals, you will notice that the Russian and European keys of games are a lot cheaper then the US versions. Right now, you can pick up GTA V for $30 from Steam or get the Russain key for about $15.

If you are looking for cheap games, first you need a VPN. The problem with Steam is that if you pick up a Russain key of a game, you will have to keep your VPN on all the time and, your account can get banned. If this happens, you will get locked out of your account and you wouldn’t be able to login to your account anymore. Of course, you can keep your VPN on all the time but that isn’t an option. There are some loopholes. If you login into your account and set it to offline mode, you will be able to play single-player games without getting banned. If you are scared of getting banned, you can make a new account so you don’t lose all of your games.

Some platforms are a lot easier. One example is Bethesda.Net. Although Fallout 76 has a lot of issues and glitches, you can pick up the EU key of Fallout 76 for only $17 from Kinguin. If you buy it and get a VPN, all you need to do is set your region to Europe and activate the game. After that, you can deactivate the VPN and download the game. I used the free version of Tunnelbear and saved $27 on Fallout 76.
