Next-Gen Xbox 2 to Feature Better Specs Than $900 PC | Specs Leaked
Xbox ‘Anaconda’ is Going to be Very Powerful

Microsoft’s Xbox One X is the most powerful console available market and although it is able to run games at 4k 30 FPS ultra, the Xbox One X doesn’t feature powerful specs. Compared to a modern gaming PC, the Xbox One X features very outdated hardware but, it seems like things are going to be different with the next-gen Xbox. The latest rumors suggest that Xbox 2, codenamed Anaconda is going to feature better specs than a $900 gaming PC.
Xbox Anaconda Specs Leaked
Thanks a user on Reddit, we have gotten supposed leaked specs for the next-gen Xbox. The post on Reddit claims that the Xbox Anaconda is going to feature an 8 core and 16 threads 7nm AMD Zen 2 CPU. This is very surprising considering that consoles usually feature really outdated and weak CPUs. The Xbox 2 is also rumored to feature a costume made 12 TFLOPs 7nm AMD Navi GPU and it is going to feature 16GB of GDDR6 RAM which is going to be shared between the system and the GPU. Now, let’s talk about the storage. The Xbox 2 is supposedly going to feature a 1TB NVMe SSD which means that the Xbox 2 is going to be 10x faster than the Xbox One and PS 4. The Xbox 2 is supposedly going to cost you $500 which means that it is going to replace the Xbox One X.
Xbox 2 VS $900 Gaming PC
We went onto PC Part Picker and made a system that is going to feature similair specs to the Xbox 2. The PC features the AMD Ryzen 7 1700X, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, the Gigabyte GA-AB350 ATX AM4 Motherboard, 8GB of DDR4-2666 G.Skill RAM, the Crucial P1 1 TB NVMe M.2 SSD, the PowerColor Radeon RX VEGA 56, the Deepcool TESSERACT SW Mid Tower Case, and the Corsair 450w Semi-Modular ATX power supply. In total, this PC will cost you $902.46 or $943.51 without mail-in rebate. We tried to make the cheapest system that will still feature specs similair to the Xbox 2. We went with only 8GB of RAM because the 16GB of RAM in the Xbox 2 is going to shared between the system and GPU.
The Xbox 2’s GPU is probably going to be more powerful than the Vega 56 as the Xbox 2’s GPU features 12 TFLOPs of performance while the AMD Vega 56 features 10.5 TFLOPs. This $900 PC should be able to run all triple-A games at 1080p ultra 60 FPS so, the Xbox 2 after optimization should easily be able to run all triple-A games at 4k ultra 30 FPS.
