Streaming Xbox Console to Feature AMD Zen 2 and Navi GPU Latest Leaks

The Streaming Xbox Console has Been Leaked

As you probably know, a lot of rumors have gotten out about the next-gen Xbox X, the high-end $500 Xbox console that is going to feature better specs than a $900 gaming PC. Well, it seems like Microsoft also has a streaming console in the works which is going to cost around $250 and feature AMD Navi and Zen 2 Hardware.

Xbox ‘Lockhart’ Leaks and Rumors

According to the latest leaks and rumors, Xbox Lockhart is going to feature a costume made Navi GPU which is going to deliver 4 TFLOPs of performance. That means that the streaming Xbox console is going to be far more powerful than the Xbox One as it features 1.3 TFLOPs of performance. The console is also going to boast a costume AMD Zen 2 CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads and 12GB of GGR6 memory which is going to be shared between the system and GPU. The console is also going to feature 1TB NVME SSD with 1GB/s speed which means that Xbox ‘Lockhart’ is going to be way faster than the Xbox One. The console is also going to feature Ray Tracing technology and DirectX.

The First Major Streaming Console

The Xbox ‘Lockhart’ is going to be the first streaming console from a major console developer. Sony has already made a game streaming service which was a disaster but, Microsoft hasn’t done much with game streaming technology. This is going to be the first time that Microsoft does anything with game streaming and they have probably been working on it for a while which means that this may be the first game streaming service that actually works. The problem is that a large part of the market isn’t going to be able to use Xbox ‘Lockhart’ as game streaming usualy requires really fast wifi. Of course, we will have to wait and see perhaps Xbox ‘Lockhart’ wouldn’t be a game streaming console and it will be like the Xbox One but, have game streaming abilities.
