AMD Navi (RX 5700 & RX 5700 XT) Destroys Competing NVIDIA RTX SUPER GPUs Thanks to Price Cuts!

NVIDIA RTX Can’t Compete With AMD Navi

 If you have been following the news you probably have heard that AMD’s 7nm Navi GPUs have been released. The benchmarks show that the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT has a really had time competing with the NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER but, now that AMD has applied price cuts to their RX 5700 series, NVIDIA has a hard time competing with AMD Navi.

AMD Radeon Navi Price Cuts

Even though AMD Navi was released on July 7th, AMD has cut Navi prices to compete with NVIDIA RTX SUPER. The AMD Navi RX 5700 XT definitely needed a price cut as the GPU has a really hard time competing with the NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER. Before the price cut, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT was a direct competitor to the RTX 2070 SUPER but, it has a really hard time competing with it. Thanks to the price cut, the RX 5700 XT is now able to absolutely destroy its direct competitor, the $399 RTX 2060 SUPER. 

Right now, it’s hard to understand why anyone would purchase the AMD Radeon RX 5700 when the RX 5700 XT delivers superior performance for only $50 more. An overclocked RX 5700 variant will be priced about the same as the base model of the RX 5700 XT. AMD will have to lower the RX 5700’s price by about $50 for it to be worth buying.

RX 5700 vs RTX 2060 SUPER

As you can see below, the AMD Radeon RX 5700 is able to outperform the NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER but, the RX 5700 is going to cost $50. The RX 5700’s competitor is the vanilla RTX 2060 and it doesn’t stand a chance as the RTX 2060 SUPER is beaten by the RX 5700 and it features and RTX 2070 chip. (More benchmarks below)

RX 5700 XT vs RTX 2070 SUPER

Now, let’s talk about the high-end AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. As you can see below now that AMD slashed the RX 5700 XT’s price, NVIDIA doesn’t stand much of a chance. The GPU was able to compete with the RTX 2070 SUPER therefore, it’ll easily beat the RTX 2060 SUPER. (More benchmarks below)
