7nm Next-Gen AMD Navi (RX 5700 Series) Captures Mid-Range Gaming Market From NVIDIA RTX SUPER
The Price Cuts Destroy NVIDIA RTX SUPER

AMD Navi was recently announced and the benchmarks show that it wasn’t able to deliver the same performance as it was rumored to. The RX 5700 series GPUs are powerful but, before the price cuts the RX 5700 XT performed nowhere near the same performance as the NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER. Now that AMD has applied price cuts to the Navi series GPUs, NVIDIA RTX SUPER can’t compete with AMD Navi.
AMD Navi Gets Price Cuts
When AMD Navi was released, AMD instantly applied price cuts to their Navi series 7nm GPUs. Thanks to these price cuts, AMD Navi is now able to compete with the competing NVIDIA RTX SUPER GPUs. As you can see below, the Radeon RX 5700XT Anniversary Edition is now going to cost $449, the RX 5700 XT is going to launch with an MSRP of $399, and the RX 5700 is going to launch with an MSRP of $349. This means that the RX 5700 XT is now the direct competitor of the $400 NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER. $400 is right in the sweet spot for gaming GPUs, so the company that controls the mid-range market is going to control a substantial part of the gaming market.

AMD Navi Captures Mid-Range Gaming Market From NVIDIA
As you can see in the series of benchmaks below (From TechSpot), the AMD RX 5700 XT is easily able to destroy the competing NVIDA RTX 2060 SUPER in all gaming benchmarks. Considering that both of these GPUs cost $399, the NVIDIA RTX SUPER 2060 is going to have a really hard time competing with the RX 5700 XT. NVIDIA will need to apply price cuts to their NVIDIA RTX series GPUs so that they can compete with AMD in the low-end and mid-range gaming market.
