For the first time in a long time, Sony is releasing a game on other consoles than their own. Sony Music Entertainment has released a new publishing label called Unites. One of Unites games is called Tiny Metal.
Tiny Metal is going to be released on the PC, Ps 4, and Nintendo Switch. It seems like Unite will only release games for the Switch, PC, PS 4, and PS VR. Unites is supposed to find unique and great games buried in the market and use “know-how and promotion system” to make more users see and play that game.
Tiny Metal is going to be released on November 21. It’s a strategy simulation game developed by “Area 35.” According to the Tiny Metals official website, the game delivers Japenese war games with the latest graphics and an entirely new game mechanic that hasn’t been used before. You will play as Lieutenant, Nathan Gries, while he fights the evil nation of Zipang. Tiny Metals will have 8-10 hours of single-player campaign. Gamers should consider varying terrain, positioning for attacks, strategic advancements, and defenses.
Other Unites games (that we know of) are Last Standard, Merkava Avalanche, and DEEMO-Reborn- (Tentative.) The last Standard is going to be released on an unknown date for PC and other unknown platforms. Merkava Avalanche is going to be released on the PC at an unknown time. DEEMO-Reborn- (Tentative) is a VR game for PS 4 and PS VR on an unknown date.

Sony has released games on other consoles before. Sony Online Entertainment published Payday: The Heist and PlanetSide 2 on PC. Unites will probably not release a game on the Xbox One because Xbox One is Playstation’s direct competitor.
Sony’s the only company that is releasing their games on a console that’s not theirs. Nintendo or Microsoft have never done that. The closest thing they did was allowing people from different platforms play with each other. Sony doesn’t allow cross-platform gaming, and according to Microsoft Sony will not allow cross-platform gaming for a long time.
