A few days ago Niantic announced a new AR Harry Potter game like Pokemon Go. Many Pokemon Go fans were wondering if that means Niantic will stop releasing more content for Pokemon Go, while Niantic has good news they will 100% support Pokemon Go for a long time.

In a blog post, Niantic said they are extremely excited about Harry Potter: Wizards Unite like other Harry Potter fans, but they are still committed to Pokemon Go. According to the Niantic blog post, they are definitely not going to shut down Pokemon Go. If you’re a Pokemon Go fan, you should be happy because Niantic is going to expand the Pokemon Go team to make more features for Pokemon Go. Niantic is going to release info on new Pokemon Go update, according to the blog post the updates will improve some features.

The AR Harry Potter game (developed by Niantic) players will be able to live in JK Rowling’s fictional world. Gamers will be able to learn spells and look around in their neighborhood to discover, team up with other wizards or witches to fight legendary monsters from the Harry Potter world. Niantic is working with Warner Bros to bring Harry Potter’s fictional world to the real world. Subscribe to UltraGamerZ for updates about Harry Potter Wizards Unite. That makes a lot of sense because the Harry Potter series sold 555 million copies, and for that reason, there were many video games based off of Harry Potter. EA, Sony, Microsoft, and Lego made Harry Potter games. EA MAde 8 Harry Potter games based on the Harry Potter movies (8 Harry Potter games in total.) Lego published 4 Harry Potter games, 2 were part of the LEGO Creator series, and the other two were based on the movies. The Harry Potter, LEGO Creator games, didn’t sell well but Harry Potter years 1-4 LEGO game and 5-7 LEGO game got good reviews and sold relatively well. Niantic is the first company to release a Harry Potter game in years.
