Destiny 2 DLC locks non DLC owners out of unlocked content
The new Destiny 2 update locks non-DLC owners out of content already available
The first Destiny game went through a lot of controversies, and it disappointed some gamers and Bungie said Destiny 2 is going to make gamers happy and it’s not going to be disappointing. When gamers played the Destiny 2 beta, it seemed like the perfect game and gamers were happy but when it launched it went downhill. When Destiny 2 launched gamers found out that didn’t let gamers that grind hard earn money so players will have to use microtransactions. Well, Bungie made gamers a little happy, but now the new update has made gamers mad again.
A Destiny 2 update that launched a few weeks ago and it increased the maximum level that players can reach and because of that level requirements for selected modes went up. Gamers that don’t buy the Curse of Osiris DLC can’t play game modes that they played yesterday. These things affect many areas in Destiny 2. One of the areas that are affected by this update is the Prestige Nightfall. Because the Prestige Nightfall’s power level cap has raised to a level that gamers that don’t own the DLC can’t reach. Another thing that makes gamers angry is the fact that Ikora offers 3 Meditations, but one of them is from the Curse of Osiris DLC. That means that non DLC owners can play two they can play. These made the gaming community angry, and they expressed their anger at websites like Reddit. If you are unsure if Destiny 2 is a good game for you right now, you have the chance to try it out. Right now gamers on any platform (that Destiny 2 is available on) can download the Destiny 2 demo and play the first two planets (Saturn’s moon and Earth’s European Dead Zone.) Gamers that play the demo can join clans and play with friends, but the maximum level you can reach through the demo is level 7.
