AMD Radeon RX 590 Release Date, Specs, Benchmarks, Price (Latest Rumors) Beats GTX 1060 in Leaked Benchmarks

The RX 590 is Going to be on Par with the GTX 1060

AMD Radon RX

New rumors have come out about AMD’s upcoming RX 590. We have a lot of info about AMD’s upcoming RX 590 including the benchmarks, price, specs, and release date.

RX 590 Rumored Release Date and Price

The AMD Radeon RX 590 is going to be released in the next couple of weeks. According to Chinese tech site mydrivers, the AMD Radeon RX 590 is going to be released on November 15 and it is expected to cost 2099 yuan or $300. So expect the RX 590 to be priced around $250-$300. This places it in the same price range as the GTX 1060 6GB, a great and relatively cheap card for 1080p gaming.

RX 590 Rumored Specs

Thanks to once again mydriver, we know that it is going to feature 8GB of VRAM and 1,545 MHz Core Clock. This places it as a direct competitor for the Nvidia GTX 1060 which features 6GB of VRAM and a base clock of 1607 MHz. The final product will likely have a higher core clock as this is likely a prototype.

RX 590 Leaked Final Fantasy XV Benchmark

A lot of AMD GPUs including the RX 590 have been found on Final Fnatasy XV’s benchmark page by Videocardz. The RX 590 performs better then or equal to the GTX 1060 6GB. In the 2560×1440 High benchmarks the RX 590 scored a 3,570 while the Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB got a 3,595. This is within the margin of error but it is bad news for AMD as the GTX 1060 6GB only costs $270 while the RX 590 is rumored to cost $300.

Unless the benchmarks are fake or the price is decreased, AMD will have trouble competing with Nvidia’s GTX 1060. These benchmarks could have been done with prototype versions of the RX 590 so the performance could be better when the final GPU is out
