We know that Destiny 2 wouldn’t run at 60 fps on consoles. A lot of people have been wondering why it doesn’t run at 60 FPS on the Xbox One X. Well Bungie answered that in the latest issue of Edge magazine [reported by wccftech]

Noseworthy told Edge magazine, “Could we make a Destiny game that ran at 60 fps? Yes, but the space would be smaller, it would be less cooperative, and there’d be fewer monsters to shoot. That’s not the game we want to make.” He also said, “But if frame rate is something that’s really important to you, there is a platform now where you can spend as much money as you want, to go as fast as you want.”

So if you want to play the game at 60 fps, buy a PC. In my opinion, Bungie should add a 60 FPS option on the Xbox one X for people that care more about frame rates than graphics. Destiny 2 will come out on consoles on September 6th and on October 24th on PC.
