Capcom Might Release New Monster Hunter Game, Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch

We are Likely Going to See a Monster Hunter Game Exclusive to the Nintendo Switch

Gamers have been asking for Monster Hunter World to come to the Nintendo Switch. For a while Capcom didn’t say anything about the request but eventually, they cane around and said no because Monster Hunter World is simply too big for the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Switch’s specs simply can’t handle Capcom’s Monster Hunter World. 4 GB of RAM is simply not able to support Monster Hunter World’s massive map. Of course, if Capcom really wants to, they can port Monster Hunter World to the Nintendo Switch by doing the same thing as they did with Resident Evil 7.

Capcom has released many Monster Hunter Games for Nintendo consoles. Although Capcom hasn’t released Monster Hunter World for the Nintendo Switch, they are going to release a new Monster Hunter game that might be exclusive to Nintendo as well as Monster Hunter Generations according to a recent rumor.

In a recent report by Siliconera, In Capcom’s 39th shareholder meeting Capcom announced that “the Switch might see another Monster Hunter game, something other than Generations Ultimate, added to its library, though.” The new Monster Hunter Game is likely going to happen as Monster Hunter games usually do very well on Nintendo consoles. If Capcom releases a Monster Hunter game exclusive to the Nintendo Switch it is likely going to be very successful. It will be the first exclusive Monster Hunter released for Nintendo’s handheld/home gaming system.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2018. The game’s official description in Nintendo’s website reads, “This critically acclaimed action RPG series makes its debut on Nintendo Switch. Take on epic hunts on the go or from the comfort of your own home! Choose from 14 different weapon types, mix and match them with unique Hunting Styles and Hunter Arts, or even play as an adorable but ferocious Felyne in Prowler Mode! Featuring the largest cast of monsters for any game in the series, from returning fan favorites to mysterious never-before-seen”
