Cuphead made many gamers very excited because of its animations that look like old Disney movies from the 1960s. When the trailer was revealed many gamers thought it will be like a game for kids and very easy to finish but they were completely wrong. It turned out that Cuphead is a very hard 2D shooting game, not an easy game designed for kids. Cuphead’s looks are deceiving. Well Cuphead got a big fan base and it did pretty well. Although it didn’t sell 20 million copies like PUBG, it has sold a pretty good amount.

StudioMDHR has announced in their blog post that Cuphead has reached a big milestone. It has sold 2 million copies on the PC and Xbox One. Although Cuphead was advertised as an Xbox One exclusive and it looked like it will be one of those games that does very well on the consoles it actually did poor on the consoles compared to PC. According to Steamspy Cuphead has sold 1.1 million copies on PC alone so that means it only sold 0.9 million copies on the Xbox One. In mid-October, Cuphaed reached 1 million sells and it was released on September 29, 2017.  Cuphead sold 1 million copies before 1 month and now it has sold another 1 million copies in 2 months. Cuphead is a 2D gaming that looks like a cartoon from the 1930s and it’s about Cuphead and Mugman who lose to the Devil in a gambling match. To get their freedom back they have to defeat bosses and stages. Cuphead has pretty good reviews. It has an 8.8/10 on IGN, an 8/10 on GameSpot, a 86% on Metacritic, and a 86 on PC gamer. As you can see it has pretty good reviews for an indie game and it has been doing pretty well. PC users can purchase for $19.99 on Steam and Xbox One users can purchase Cuphead for 19.99 from the Xbox store.
