PUBG is one of the most successful games of 2017. It has already sold more than 20 million copies and it’s in early access. Before PUBG the battle royal genre pretty much didn’t exist but now thanks to PUBG every developer is making a battle royal game or adding a battle royal mini-game. Recently evidence of a battle royal mode has been found in CS: GO. Many weapons that are in PUBG have been found in CS: GO’s code. Some of those weapons are light/heavy armor, Bow, drones, and many more things.

Well PUBG 1.0 was released on 12/20/17 for the PC and the Xbox One release date hasn’t been revealed yet. PUBG 1.0 will bring a bunch of new things such as a new desert map called Miramar and it’s set in a Mexican desert. Well like every other popular game Nvidia has released a day 1 game ready driver for PUBG which is available for download right now.

The new driver delivers day 1 optimizations for PUBG 1.0 and more optimization for other games. Nvidia recommends the GTX 1060 to play PUBG in 1080p, high settings, and 60 FPS. The GTX 1070 is recommended by Nvidia to run PUBG at 1440p, high settings, and 60 FPS. The GTX 1080 TI is recommended by Nvidia to play PUBG at 4k, high settings, and 60 FPS. Many fans were saying that with a GTX 1070 they can’t get a consistent 60 FPS at ultra 1080p but it will probably get a lot better with the final version of PUBG. Right now a GTX 1070 can’t run PUBG at 1080p ultra settings at a consistent 60 FPS. If you have any GPU higher then the GT 420 and Windows 8 32- bit will be able to download the 388.71 game ready driver now. Click here to download the new driver.
