Recently everyone’s been talking about a Diablo III port for the Nintendo Switch. Blizzard quickly shut down all of these rumors by saying, “We can assure you we’re not that clever.“[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce.” Nintendo’s most recent direct was very disappointing to many fans because many fans thought that Nintendo is going to announce very big things but they didn’t. The games that Nintendo announced are good but they aren’t as good as fans expected. One of the games that fans expected to see was Diablo III but Nintendo didn’t talk about it.

Eurogamer’s sources told them that Diablo III is going to be released on the Nintendo Switch. Thier sources said that yes Diablo III is going to be released for the Nintendo Switch but when they saw Blizzard’s Tweet they were very surprised because the game isn’t supposed to be released on the Nintendo Switch for several months. E3 2018 is going to start on June 12, 2018 and right now it is March so E3 2018 is about three months away. Three months isn’t exactly several months so it’s not likely to see Diablo III Nintendo Switch in E3. Blizzcon could be another place for Blizzard to announce Diablo III Nintendo Switch port. Blizzcon 2016 and 2017 both took place in November of that year. Blizzcon 2018 hasn’t been announced yet but it will probably take place in November. November is several months away but Blizzard didn’t announce Diablo III Xbox One and PS 4 ports in Blizzcon 2014. It is more likely to see Diablo III in a Nintendo direct in a couple of months.

Remember these rumors could be all fake but Diablo III is probably coming to the Nintendo Switch. Eurogamer is a very trusted source and many other websites have sources in Blizzard that told them Diablo III Nintendo Switch is happening.
