According to many rumors from different sources around the gaming industry, the next-gen Nvidia GPUs are going to be revolutionary for the gaming market. As indicated by rumors the Nvidia GTX 1180 is going to feature specs similair to Nvidia’s Titan XP, the most powerful and expensive gaming GPU available in the market. The Titan XP will cost you more than $1,200 right now which is way too expensive for a GPU for most gamers.  Most people’s PC cost around $1,200.

Right now the GPU shortage has gotten a lot better and GPU prices for most brands have gone down to somewhere around the original price. Right now a Nvidia GTX 1080 will cost you at least $529.99 on Amazon. Unless you are going to buy a GPU that costs less than $300 or if you don’t care about money it’s wise to wait a month or two before buying your self a brand new GPU. Apparently, the Nvidia GTX 1180 is going to have 3584 Cuda Cores, 8-16GB of VRAM, 1600MHz core clock, 1800MHz boost clock, 13 TFLOPS, 16 Gbps Memory Speed, and a TDP of 170 to 200 watts. The GTX 1180 is going to be revolutionary for the PC gaming market as according to rumors it will cost around $700 and it is going to be released in July 2018.

This means that very soon PC gamers will be able to play their games at 4k ultra settings 60 FPS on a system that costs less than $1500. Nvidia might also release cheaper versions of the GPU perhaps one that performs like the GTX 1080 TI but costs as much as the GTX 1070 costs now. Nvidia might also just release the GTX 1180 and 1170 and if anyone wants a cheaper card they will have to buy the 1000 series GPU.
