Dungeon Runner: Best Location for MapleStory 2 Mesos

So, you’re a new Maplestory 2 player and you need Maplestory 2 mesos? Well, you’ve come to the right place, as we’ll be guiding you about all the dungeons where you can farm lots of the stuff. Be prepared to run the same dungeons over and over again in the name of in-game wealth!

Taking It Easy

Dungeons are a great, if not the best, way for you to farm all-important Mesos. You can run them ten times a day and thirty in one week, with some tasks accomplishable in just three to six minutes. That breakneck speed in dungeon running, however, is only possible if you’re with a competent and dedicated party. Of course, having in-depth knowledge about the dungeon in question also helps.

There are two kinds of dungeons in Maplestory 2: Normal Mode and Hard Mode. For the former, the most popular one is the Tronix Bunker. With the fact that it can be finished in less than ten minutes, it also yields lots of onyx crystals, which are worth a lot. You can also reap epic gear that can be sold for an astounding 11 to 30 million Mesos. However, only sell gear your class can’t use, as you’d need the one that’s applicable to your class. It’s good to rake in Mesos, but getting epic gear for yourself will save you from spending in the first place.

Other than Tronix Bunker, you should also try another Normal Mode dungeon: the Illusory Pyramid. It’s not as well-known as Tronix Bunker, but some say that this one is actually better than the former for two reasons. One, it has a lower gear score and easier monsters, therefore it’s less risky and faster to run. Second, despite the fact that its blue gear yields are inferior to that of Tronix Bunker, the epic gear rewards are pretty much almost the same.

Doing Things the Hard Mode

Now, for Hard Mode Dungeons, there are two: the Fire Dragon and Lubelisk. The previous is known to be very difficult for first-timers, but it can be pretty simple and a breeze to run once players are able to familiarize themselves with how it goes. Plus, it drops the Murpagoth Warrior set, which is very much in demand and therefore can fetch quite the price.

Finally, there’s the Lubelisk. It can be done in just five to seven minutes, plus it drops Varrekant’s Wings, which can be sold for 30 to 40 million Mesos.

Making Most Out of Dungeons

Since you’re already runningdungeons on a regular basis, you might as well get your iDaily Dungeons bonus. For example, Tier 1 will only require you to finish 1 dungeon for around 168,000 Mesos, while the succeeding tiers will require more dungeons and give you higher rewards. At Tier 8, you should have already cleared 30 dungeons and receive around 500,000 Mesos. Then again, if you’re a dedicated Maplestory 2 player, you’d hit that target without even breaking a sweat.

Lastly, if you want to run a whopping thirty dungeons a day, you can.By making alt characters, that is. When you make alts, make sure that they’re the kind you actually want to play, especially when you’ve hit the limit for your main character. Preferably, you should have two to three alts. With this number, you’re sure to not waste any time and opportunity when your main’s already hit the weekly cap for content. At the same time, it’s not so many that you’ll no longer know which one to focus on.

All dungeons may be fun, but not all dungeons are created equal in the eyes of the Mesos farmer. So if you’re going to be one, it’s best that you stick with these four. At least until the meta changes.
