FAR CRY 5 IS SET TO BE RELEASED ON FEBRUARY 27, 2018 FOR PS4, XBOX ONE AND PC

Far Cry 5 is out on February 27, 2018.

FAR CRY 5 THE STORY

Welcome to Hope County, Montana. You must rise up and fight for freedom to liberate a besieged community that a cult is to violently seize control of. Freely explore Hope County’s rivers, lands, and skies with almost the largest customizable weapon and vehicle roster ever been available in any Far Cry game. You of course are the hero of the story in a thrilling world that shakes up every moment, and where the places you discover and the locals you ally with will shape your story in ways you’ll never see coming. you see the unexpected and play e dynamic and detailed story. You’ll play a deputy sheriff trying to take the cult down. The leader of The Project is Joseph Seed, who calls himself The Father, and he resolutely believes that the end of days is coming and it’s up to him to save the town whether they like it or not.

Ubisoft Far Cry 5 Collector’s Editions

Ubisoft has revealed a couple of Collector’s Editions that’ll be sure to make your wallet go wow. In North America, Far Cry fans can pick up the Resistance Edition which is  said to be exclusively available from GameStop at $199.99. In the UK, it seems to be a little cheaper like £89.99. The Collector’s Resistance Editions will come with a statue in a collector’s box, and the Resistance Edition comes with a patriotic 16.5” figurine of resistance member and player ally Nick Rye standing in front of the USA flag, with his gun-holding dog by his side. This Resistance edition comes with a steelbook, a logo pin, and some postcards. Both of the collector’s editions comes with a code for the Doomsday Prepper DLC, which will be downloaded, van and gun. It’s also safe to say that they’ll both come with the Season Pass.

Far Cry 5 is the first in Far Cry to be localized in Arabic

Far Cry 5 will be the first in Ubisoft’s flagship shooter game series to have a full Arabic localisation, with menus and subtitles in that language. Malek Teffaha, Ubisoft’s PR manager for the Middle East and North Africa, tweeted the news:  “We finally announced that, for the first time ever, the FC series will be localized in Arabic with menus and subtitles!” It’s big deal to see Far Cry 5 join the arabic game market , the franchise typically features bloody violence, swearing, alcohol and drug use, and the odd bit of sex.

UBISOFT To Publish Far Cry Absolution Novel Based On Far Cry 5 Game

Far Cry Absolution is going to be published by Ubisoft’s in-house publishing initiative and distributed by Simon & Schuster in the U.S. and Canada, in eBook, hardcover ($27.00) and mass market paperback ($9.99). Written by novelist Urban Waite, Far Cry Absolution takes place just before the events of the upcoming Far Cry 5 game. Nestled between the mountains and the plains  the small town of Fall’s End and its citizens are coming to grips with the growing presence of a fanatical cult in their daily life, the Project at Eden’s Gate….

Far Cry 5 to be playable at Armageddon Expo

Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 5 will be playable this month at the Armageddon Expo. The Auckland Armageddon Expo is the first time public will be able to play this game.  The Auckland Armageddon Expo goers will be able to see the game running in stunning 4K. This is a great chance for gamers to also play on the Xbox One X before its launch on November 7th, 2017.

FAR CRY 5 & FISHING, HUNTING AND DRIVING

According to Ubisoft, vehicles and weapons will be customizable much more than anything in older versions. So it’ll be interesting to see what gamers will be able to do with vehicles and weapons. Hunting will also returns in far cry 5, with players able to fish and shoot at wild animals they encounter while exploring. You can actually go and sit and fish all day if you want and have some peaceful time around.

Far Cry 5 is introducing airplanes too!!!  with the tease of aerial combat and the ability to land on water with amphibious planes.
