Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition extra graphics settings leaked
Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition has a lot of extra graphics settings that we haven’t seen before
Final Fantasy XV has been around for a long time and Xbox One and PS 4 gamers have been able to enjoy the game for a long time but PC gamers didn’t get to enjoy this massively popular game. After a long wait Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition was announced and that made PC gamers very excited. Square Enix said that the wait will be worth it for PC gamers. Apparently, Square Enix has built Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition from the ground up for the PC it’s not a console port. Square Enix also said that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is a generation ahead of the console versions. Square Enix also said that the game will have a lot of graphics options and thanks to a leak from the demo’s files the Luminous Engine tool gives PC gamers many extra graphics settings.
Reddit user Ryudo_Gaming found a Luminous Engine tool in the demo but Square Enix doesn’t allow players to use it from the game. In this tool, you can choose to use “high spec asset data”, “texture streaming memory”, “texture anisotropic filter”, lighting quality, shadow resolution, shadow distance scaling, model LOD scaling, screen filter detail level, and antialias. Ryudo_Gaming wrote, “So i had a quick look over the place and didnt see this posted but if you go into your FFXV directory then go to tools then GraphicsConfigurationTool there is a Luminous Engine tool there that allows you to edit settings that are not currently in the ingame settings page such as Shadow Resolution up to 800% showing on screen stats like so.” When the game launches it might have even more graphics options that weren’t placed in the demo’s files. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is going to be released on March 6th 2018 on Origin, Steam, and the Microsoft store.
