Two of the four free Xbox Live Games with Gold now available

Every month Microsoft gives Xbox Live Gold subscribers on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 free games as well as exclusive deals in the Xbox store. This month Microsoft is going to give away two Xbox One and two Xbox 360 games. Both of the free Xbox 360 games are also available on the Xbox One thanks to backward compatibility. Xbox One gamers are going to get around $130 worth of free games.

First up is The Witness an Xbox One game that is going to stay free for subscribers until April 30th. The Witness is a 3D puzzle video game that was released back in Jan 2016. The game was inspired by Myst. You can progress in the game by solving hard puzzles. The player is an unnamed character who explores a mysterious island filled with man-made and natural structures. The world is divided into 11 regions. Different regions have different vegetation. The Witness has pretty good scores with an 87/100 from Metacritic. You can purchase The Witness for $39.99 from the Xbox store.

The other free Xbox One game is Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is going to be available from April 16th until May 15th. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate was released back in 2015 for the Xbox One, PS 4, and PC. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is an action-adventure played in the third-person perspective. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is set in Victorian-era London. The story follows two Assassin’s as they try to take back the city from the Templars control. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate got pretty good review scores but fans don’t like the game as much as reviewers. On Metacritic Syndicate Xbox One has a 78/100 but a user score of 6.2. You can purchase Syndicate for $49.99 from the Xbox store.
