343 Industries announced after three years Halo Master Chief collection is getting fixed, and it will get a 4k update for the Xbox One X. Ths update will offer visual and game improvements to Halo Master Chief collection. 

In a blog post, 343 said the 4k update would fix and upgrade Halo Master Chief collection. The patch is planned to roll out sometime in Spring 2018. They said the new patch would improve matchmaking.

Halo Wars 2 is getting crossplay. Halo Wars 2 has been a Xbox play anywhere game. If you buy an Xbox play anywhere game, you can download the game for PC and Xbox One with no additional charge. Halo Wars 2 will get cross-play patch in October. The patch will include Xbox One X enhancements too.

Halo 5 is getting weapon tuning. The Halo 5 overtime content will be released in November and weapon tuning will be included in that update. The battle rifle, Gunfighter Magnum, Railgun, Assault Rifle, and Grenades will be changed. The battle rifle will be less effective in long-range combat, and it will become more midrange. Gunfighter Magnum is changing to be able to compete with SMGs and ARs. The Rail Gun is changing to be easier to use in battle, the charge time and “instant firing” made it very hard to use in battle. The assault rifles will get better accuracy and better fire rate, but it will have lower damage. All of the grenade modes will be changed. The update will make frag grenade spamming grenades less effective. Splinter’s blast damage will be reduced. All these changes will happen this November. To read all the Halor updates click here.

Halo Master Chief Collection was released on November 11, 2014. It included remastered version of  Halo 2  Anniversary, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. Many fans were disappointed because the game was very laggy. According to VGcharts it only sold  3.4 million copies.
