The Switch XL May Still Happen!
The Nintendo Switch is one of the most popular consoles of all time selling millions of units after a few months of release. The Switch was predicted to be another failure by many analysts before it was released but, when the console eventually came out it blew up and captured the gaming market. Everyone loved the Nintendo Switch as it allows gamers to play big games like Breath of the Wild on the go. Rumors were going around the internet a while back claiming that Nintendo is going to release a Switch Mini and a Switch Xl. Well, the Switch Mini has been revealed and the Switch XL is most likely still happening.
Rumors Claim Nintendo Switch XL Happening
Nintendo has released hardware refreshes of their most successful consoles many times before therefore, it makes a lot of sense for us to get our hands on an upgraded Nintendo Switch console. The Wii, Nintendo DS, and the Nintendo 3DS were Nintendo’s most successful consoles and Nintendo released hardware refreshes for all of these consoles. Rumors claimed that this combined with the information received by their sources, Nintendo is going to release a Switch mini or a Switch XL. It was said that Nintendo is going to either release the Switch Mini or the Switch XL but, this doesn’t mean that the Switch XL is definitely not happening.
An upgraded version of the Nintendo Switch makes a lot of business sense for Nintendo as it’s one of their most popular consoles and gamers definitely wouldn’t mind getting their hands on more storage and bigger screens. The Nintendo Switch has a relatively small screen so a lot of users will be willing to upgrade to a bigger Nintendo Switch XL.
Nintendo Switch Lite Revealed
Nintendo recently revealed the Nintendo Switch Lite, a smaller and cheaper version of the Nintendo Switch. The Switch Lite features a 720p screen but, the screen is a bit smaller than the Nintendo Switch’s screen. The second biggest change is the fact that the Switch Lite doesn’t feature detachable Joy-Cons and the third biggest change is the fact that the Switch Lite is portable only. This means that you can’t connect it to your TV. The Switch Lite will arrive on 9/20 and it’ll launch with an MSRP of $199.
