Avalanche Studio is hiring for a next-gen game

Avalanche Studios [dev of Just Cause and Mad Max] is hiring a senior programmer to lead develope a “generation open world/sandbox multiplayer engine.” The game will probably come to the PC Xbox One, and PS 4.

 The next game will come to PC, Xbox One, and PS 4 because one of the job qualifications is “Experience of the platform specific services and APIs available for online presence, e.g., PSN, Xbox Live, Steam.” The new game will have, “highly destructible multiplayer environments.” Unfortunately, it seems like it will not come to the Switch. They also said, “Avalanche Studios is developing for both current and next-gen platforms.”

It doesn’t seem like this game is Just Cause 3, but we wouldn’t know that for years because Avalanche hasn’t even started the development of the new game. This game is the first online open-sandbox multiplayer game by Avalanche. Other games such as Ark Survival Evolved have done this, but this game is one of the only open-sandbox multiplayer game made by a big company. AAA Multiplayer games are becoming more popular with the huge success of PUBG, and most other companies will defiantly make new games like PUBG.
