Star Wars Battlefront 2 is definitely the most cervical game that was released in 2017. After a lot of criticism from the community, EA made a lot of changes to the loot box system. At first, the loot boxes gave players star cards, and star cards upgraded the player’s characters, stats, weapons, and more. EA changed the system so when gamers bought loot boxes the star cards the earned required a level to be able to use them. For example, a level 1 player couldn’t equip a legendary star card they needed to reach a specific level. After EA changed, the system fans were still unhappy, so they reduced Battlefront 2 hero costs after they did that they still received criticism, so they temporarily removed loot boxes from Battlefront 2.
Throughout all of these events, Lucas films didn’t talk until now. Lucas films told The Washington Post Star Wars is about the fans. According to Lucas films in any Star Wars game or movie fans come first. Lucus film’s spokesman said they completely support EA’s handling of the loot box criticism (temporarily removing Battlefront 2 loot boxes.) Before EA removed loot boxes from Battlefront 2, the cheapest crystal pack cost you $5, and it gave you 500 crystals, The most expensive one was $99.99, and you got 1200 Crystals from it. EA made heroes in Battlefront 2 75% cheaper after a Reddit user said it takes 40 hours to unlock Vader or Luke. Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader cost 15,000 credits, Chewbacca, Leia Organa, and Palpatine cost 10,000 credits, and Iden Versio will cost 5,000 credits. We don’t know how much future Battlefront 2 heroes will cost. In the future EA might reduce the hero costs even more. EA thinks with the reduced price it will be challenging to get heroes but not too challenging.
