RX 590 First Leaked Final Fantasy XV Benchmark

A lot of AMD GPUs including the RX 590 have been found on Final Fnatasy XV’s benchmark page by Videocardz. The RX 590 performs better then or equal to the GTX 1060 6GB. In the 2560×1440 High benchmarks the RX 590 scored a 3,570 while the Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB got a 3,595. This is within the margin of error but it is bad news for AMD as the GTX 1060 6GB only costs $270 while the RX 590 is rumored to cost $300.

Unless the benchmarks are fake or the price is decreased, AMD will have trouble competing with Nvidia’s GTX 1060. These benchmarks could have been done with prototype versions of the RX 590 so the performance could be better when the final GPU is out
