New PUBG update out anti-cheat improvements

PUBG has gotten a new update

Before Playerunknowns Battlegrounds the battle royal genre was very tiny but after PUBG blew up on Steam while it was in early access. When PUBG was in early access it sold a very impressive 20 million units and then when Bluehole released PUBG for the XBox One a little while after they said that PUBG sold 30 million units on PC and Xbox One. In every popular game especially indie games you can find a lot of hackers and unfortunately, that is the same for PUBG. In PUBG there is a big chance that you will meet a few hackers if you play a few matches. PUBG’s been deploying anti-cheat measures to stop the hackers but they don’t work and hackers keep coming back. PUBG Corp has released another patch to reduce the number of hackers in PUBG and more.

In a post in the Steam Community PUBG Corp wrote that they have made a dedicated team that will focus on fighting cheat programs. According to PUBG Corp, the new anti-cheat solution will, “complement the systems that have been developed and implemented already. Its main focus for now is blocking unauthorized programs but it will be further developed to broaden the scope of its abilities. This feature will also block different helper programs that alter the graphics or aid in gameplay in some way. What these programs have in common is that they all hook into our game and transform game files. Programs that are not used to gain an unfair advantage can also be blocked if they behave like cheats. ” PUBG Corp says that some programs that don’t affect gameplay might be blocked. They will check the blocked programs on test servers and if they are “harmless” the programs will be unblocked. The new anti-cheat system is live on the test servers. PUBG Corp has also deactivated account sharing because of some vulnerabilities that are being exploited by hackers. You can read the full patch notes here.
