A new Tomb Raider game will be revealed and maybe shipped in 2018

The Tombraider series has been around for a long time, and it’s been very successful. A new Rise of the Tombraider game was leaked, but Square Enix has been very tight leaped about it and Tomb Raider fans have been waiting for that sweet announcement and trailer. Well, the good news is that a new Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to be revealed and it might be shipped in 2017. 

Tomb Raider’s official Twitter account Tweeted they will tell us big news next year. They want to share it with us but they can’t, and they are taking a new approach. Square Enix says that a new Tomb Raider game is coming! Like every other developer, they are saying that they want to put fans first and it will not take a long time until the official announcement of the new Tomb Raider game and the release date of the new Tomb Raider game are revealed. It seems like Rise of the Tomb Raider will be revealed in a big event in 2018. The first and biggest 2018 gaming event is PAX South 2018 (starts on  12th January 2018.) You don’t have to wait for that long to experience the Tomb Raider in a new way. Right now Rise of the Tomb Raider is available in Steam VR. So if you own an Oculus Rift or HTC Vive, you can play Rise of the Tomb Raider in VR. Unfortunately, the whole game isn’t going to be available in VR gamers can play the Blood Ties chapter in VR. You can buy an Oculus Rift+ Oculus touch for $399 on Amazon and the HTC Vive for $599. The HTC Vive comes with three free games, and the Oculus Rift will come with six free games. PAX South 2018 will start on January 12 and end on January 14. There are no age restrictions, and it costs $80 for a 3-day pass, $40 for one day only, and PAX Sunday kids (7-12) badge for $10.
