Nintendo to announce more details about the Switch online service

Nintendo is going to work hard on the Nintendo Switch Online service

Nintendo consoles have had many good features but they have been lacking one very important feature that has been around for years now a good online service. The Wii pretty much didn’t have an online service but the Wii U did. The Wii U’s online service had many problems. Nintendo’s social platform Miiverse was a mess and things such as voice chat weren’t very good. Compared to the Xbox One and PS 4 the Wii U had very bad online service. Console’s have had paid online service for a long time now and that was a big problem but Nintendo consoles didn’t until now. With the Nintendo Switch Nintendo is going to make a paid online service. Gamers are excited to see what Nintendo is going to do, many hope that it’s something like Wii Us and PS 4s online service.

In a recent Q&A session Nintendo’s President and Representative Director Tatsumi Kimishima was asked has anything changed becuase Nintendo delayed the service’s launch and how are you going to make the Nintendo Switch Online Service popular. Kimishima said, “We view the online service as one component of our efforts to diversify how our games are played and to get people to play more of our games. That is why we want to apply substantial resources to the online service, with the thinking that we will devote our energies to making this a for-pay service.” Kimishima also said that they are going to make an announcement about the Nintendo Switch online service and that will show how they are going to make the online service more popular. 

The Nintendo Switch online service will launch in September this year. Apparently, every month subscribers are going to get free classic Nintendo games. These titles include  Super Mario Bros. 3, Balloon Fight and Dr. Mario. Subscribers are also going to get deals in the Nintendo Switch eShop. The Nintendo Switch’s online service is going to cost less than PS Plus and Xbox Live. For 1 month it will cost you $3.99, 3 months will cost $7.99, and a whole year will cost $19.99.
