One of the Biggest Problems With Sea of Thieves

This is a Big Issue in Sea of Thieves

If you remember, when Sea of Thieves came out the game was kind of a disaster as gamers got bored really quick. Sea of Thieves quickly got repetitive which caused it to lose a lot of players shortly after it came out but, Rare has been trying to fix that issue by adding more activities and missions to the game. Although the game isn’t very repetitive anymore, it still has a really big issue that can’t really be fixed.

Right now, if you jump into the world of Sea of Thieves there are a lot of activities for you to enjoy for hours that is if you have some friends to enjoy them with. If none of your friends play Sea of Thieves, you’ll have to play with randoms or, go to the Discord server. The issue is the fact that there really aren’t a lot of people actually playing Sea of Thieves. The Discord server is basically dead and, when you go with randoms it takes a bit of time to find another player.

The whole point of Sea of Thieves is that every player is a human player and, you’re supposed to see more than one other ship in a server. You’re not supposed to see an enemy ship every minute but, you’re supposed to be able to find enemy ships after playing for like 20 minute. Even if there are enemy ships, there is usualy only one other ship. My favorite part of Sea of Thieves is fighting enemy ships but, it’s really hard to find other players in a lobby. when new content is released, everyone jumps on, plays for a while, get’s bored, and leaves. This means that if a new DLC is released and you get on after about a week weeks, everyone has already done the beginning missions. Playing missions alone feels tedious which means that you’ll probably give up.

If Rare wants to keep players consistently interested in their game, they’ll have to do the same thing as Epic Games which means that they’ll have to release weekly updates that bring new features to the game. This is a tedious task and very costly. Considering that Rare is a small company, they probably wouldn’t be able to release weekly updates for Sea of Thieves.
