PUBG Corp has Admitted that Event Pass wasn’t Perfect

PlayerUnknowns Battlegrounds was the game that jump-started the battle royal genre. When PUBG blew up on Steam and every YouTuber was playing it and every developer was trying to implement a battle royal mode into their game Epic Games released their free Battle Royal mode for Fortnite on the PC, Xbox One, and PS 4. Since then PUBG has been slowly losing players so PUBG Corp has been trying new things to get players to return to PUBG. Recently PUBG Corp added Even Pass to their game and gamers were very excited but it wasn’t as good as they thought.

In an interview with PCGamesN PUBG Corp said, “The event was the first of its kind we launched. It wasn’t perfect, but many players stood by us and I’m very thankful for their support. We’re going to analyse things that didn’t go too well in Sanhok – level of difficulty, depth challenge – and reflect on them.” This is good news to the gaming community as it seems like PUBG Corp is trying to improve on their mistakes and make a better map.

When asked if Event Pass is going to return to PUBG in the future PUBG Corp said, “We haven’t decided yet. It’s something we are thinking of, but we want to reflect on it more before making future plans.” Event Pass was a good idea but it wasn’t executed well. If PUBG Corp fixes the issues it will be a fun experience to play event pass without the issues.

Gamers have a lot of questions about PUBG’s next map. We don’t have a lot of info about it right now but PUBG Corp did talk about their next map with, “I don’t have much to say on this as we are still in the early stage of production. But it will be a map that has accumulated a lot of know-how gained from the production process of Erangel and Miramar, as well as Sanhok. New features are under development, so please look forward to them.”

PUBG Corp is trying to get more updates out and fix the game so they can compete with Fortnite Battel Royal on the PC. Fortnite has already stolen a lot of PUBG’s audience on the PC and it is going to continue if PUBG Corp doesn’t fix up the game and roll out more changes to the map. Perhaps a big change every few months like what Fortnite’s doing with the seasons.
