Razer’s fun products made some buzz at CES. Razer’s latest project is a bit toward mobile gaming. Say hello to Project Linda, it is a prototype designed to turn the Razer Phone into a android laptop. The concept is nothing new but mostly tried to make your phone into a pc like what microsoft tried to do with lumia. Motorola tried to do it too, Atrix 4G in 2011. Samsung, HP and others have all tried something similar.

“The 13.3” Quad HD touchscreen extends the 120Hz experience available on the Razer Phone to a larger display, providing fluid motion and vibrant visuals. The 13.3” touch display of the laptop is ideal for gaming, entertainment, and creativity, or for multiple apps to run side by side. The 5.7” touchscreen of the Razer Phone can function as a touchpad, or as an interactive second touch display for custom interfaces or additional apps. ” From Rzer’s Official PR

The laptop is similar to the Razer Blade Stealth with some modification. The trackpad is now made to hold the Razer Phone, which connects to the rest of the machine via a motorized USB-C hook-up. The Phone can then act as either a touchpad or a secondary display.

Other laptop specs are: 13.3-inch QHD touchscreen, individually RGB-backlit Chroma keyboard, an aluminum chassis, 53 Wh battery that can charge the phone up to three times, an additional 200 GB of storage, a USB Type-C charging port, a USB 3.0 Type-A port, a headphone jack. The notebook doesn’t have speakers and relies on speakers of the Razer Phone.

Project Linda is still a purely concept; Razer hasn’t released pricing or availability details and they may never bring it to the market.
