Rumor: Razer working with Microsoft to bring Keyboard and Mouse support to the Xbox One

According to Rumors Xbox One Gamers are Going to be Able to Play with Mouse and Keyboard Very Soon

One of the luxuries of PC gaming is the support for pretty much every controller in the market. If you like the PS 4 controller you can use it. If you want to use the Xbox One controller you can use it also. Unfortunately, console gamers haven’t had the same luxury. On some consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, gamers are able to use adapters to use controllers from other companies but they aren’t officially supported and if a new software update comes out the adapter might not even work. As you probably know the mouse and keyboard is more precise and faster then controllers and many gamers would rather use a keyboard and mouse to play games then a controller. Many console gamers have been asking for mouse and keyboard support for years and it seems like the wait is almost over as Microsoft is working with Razer to bring PC peripherals to the consoles.

According to a rumor started by Windows Central, Razer is starting a partnership with Microsoft to bring mouse and keyboard support to console. As you can see in the leaked promo image below, gamers are going to be able to use the Razer Turret and the Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 on their Xbox One. According to Windows Central, all games must work with an Xbox One controller and only one pair of keyboard and mouse can be used per console.

Many gamers are concerned by the fact that keyboard and mouse offer a competitive advantage over using the controller. Razer leaves up the mouse and keyboard support entirely to the developers. The developer can choose if they want to separate controller users and keyboard users or they can choose to give certain advantages to users using a controller so everyone has the same chance.
